MISHICOT, Wis. (WFRV) – A teacher and coach from Mishicot High School was arrested on multiple charges of sexual assault for alleged incidents involving students.
On Wednesday, April 16, 36-year-old Ryan Scott Schroeder of Francis Creek was arrested after an investigation into reports of alleged inappropriate behavior with students, deputies with the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office said in a release Thursday.
Deputies noted that Schroeder is a physical education teacher and coach at Mishicot High School.

Schroeder was taken into custody due to evidence deputies and officers with the Mishicot Police Department obtained during the investigation.
Investigators stated that the alleged conduct is believed to have happened over an “extended period of time,” and the Mishicot School District has been working closely with the Sheriff’s Office and Police Department during the investigation.
Schroeder is being held at the Manitowoc County Jail on the following charges:
- Second Degree Sexual Assault of a Child
- Repeated Sexual Assault of the Same Child
- Sexual Assault of a Child by School Staff
- Possession of Child Pornography
- Child Enticement
Deputies are hoping to identify any additional victims or witnesses who are willing to come forward after Schroeder’s arrest.
