(WFRV) – 40-year-old Gary Day, the man accused of child abduction in a two-month-long AMBER Alert for a pregnant Wisconsin teenager, was extradited to Wisconsin and had a court hearing on Thursday.
Day, who faces two felony charges of child abduction and two felony charges of child enticement, appeared in court in custody in Dodge County, just over two weeks after he was arrested in Nebraska.

Day is charged with the abduction of 17-year-old Sophia Franklin of Beaver Dam, who is pregnant with Day’s child. The AMBER Alert stretched across Missouri and Arkansas after initially being initiated in Wisconsin on February 3.
The court set Day’s cash bond at $2 million.
