APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – The Appleton Area School District raised money for its arts program with a food truck rally on Friday night.

Several local food trucks were parked at the Janet Berry Elementary School playground. The event also featured an obstacle course, petting zoo, face painting, and a bake sale.

“The Food Truck Rally Fundraiser is more than just a fun community event — it’s a chance to support creativity, inclusivity, and opportunity for all students. Every dollar raised helps ensure that our Arts for All program is able to thrive, providing middle and high school students of all abilities the chance to express themselves through the arts,” said Amy Steiner, AASD executive director of special education.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Appleton Area School District’s Arts for All Wisconsin, a statewide nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities through the arts. Funds raised will directly support AASD students with disabilities by expanding access to inclusive, creative experiences that foster confidence, expression, and connection.
