Newsmaker Sunday: Rooted In discusses food insecurity and what’s being done about it

(WFRV) – On this week’s Newsmaker Sunday, Tom Zalaski is joined by Selena Darrow and Larry Peterson of Rooted In to discuss food insecurities in the area and what they are doing to help.

Recent studies show that more than 850,000 tons of edible food were wasted in Wisconsin in 2020, while at the same time, a significant percentage of the population is food insecure.
