(WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin are reminding cyclists that just because they’re not in a motor vehicle, it doesn’t mean they can ignore the rules of the road.
The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office posted dashcam footage, including recent video of a cyclist ignoring a stop sign while the patrol vehicle was driving down the road.

The post mentioned that there have recently been multiple incidents involving bicycles refusing to stop at posted stop signs, with the following information:
- Bicycles must follow the same traffic rules as a motor vehicle
- Stop signs are never optional; rolling through is a violation
