The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…
Cloudy skies and cooler temperatures for Wednesday with a high of 74 degrees – dropping from 86 degrees yesterday. We’ll also contend with a few light showers or sprinkles this morning, then some additional spots of rain that will continue at times for the second half of the day. While we are not expecting severe weather, a few embedded thunderstorms could be included with the rain in the afternoon or evening. Precipitation totals now looking way down from yesterday, with most communities seeing less than a quarter inch, while any spot that gets an isolated thunderstorm could see totals approaching a half inch or rain.
Tonight, mostly cloudy with a few showers or a thunderstorm lingering in the area. The low is 62 degrees.
A mix of sun and clouds Thursday with a high of 83 degrees. The morning will be dry, while the afternoon will feature spotty thunderstorms forming across the north. If a few of those storms hold together, some may reach a part of the Fox Cities and lakeshore later in the day.
Friday, partly sunny and 83 degrees with a small chance for rain or a thunderstorm. The SUMMER SOLSTICE is at 9:42pm.
Saturday looks to show us mostly sunny skies with highs in the lower 90s for the first full day of Summer. Thick humidity is expected to be around as well where heat index values, or feels-like temperatures, will be in the upper 90s or low 100s. A breeze will kick in as well.
Just about the same temperatures wise on Sunday with sunny skies, muggy air and breezy conditions. The high is 94 degrees. The heat index again in the upper 90s to low 100s.
