BALTIMORE, Mar. (WFRV) – A 2x Pro Bowl cornerback recently released by the Green Bay Packers has reportedly found a new home with the Baltimore Ravens.
As first reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, 28-year-old Jaire Alexander has signed a new 1-year, $6 million contract with the Ravens.
Alexander was officially released by Green Bay after seven seasons on June 9, a move that was met with mixed reaction from the Packers fan base.

Green Bay drafted Alexander with the No. 18 overall pick in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Over the course of his seven seasons in Titletown, he started 76 games and played in 78 while recording 302 tackles (232 solo), 12 interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), 80 passes defended, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, 12 tackles for a loss, 1.5 sacks, and two QB hits.
Alexander once again gets to play with his former college teammate from Louisville, a 2x NFL MVP, and current quarterback for the Ravens, Lamar Jackson.
Barring any potential injuries, the 2x Pro-Bowler could have his “revenge” game against the Packers as the Ravens are scheduled to come to Lambeau Field in Week 17 of the NFL Regular Season.
