The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Its been a much cooler day out there with the addition of clouds and rain showers back in the fold.
For this evening, plan on scattered showers with some isolated thunderstorms. We should start to dry out later in the overnight. Precipitations amounts will be quite meager, unless you get a quick downpour which could push totals around 0.5″. Lows tonight will fall into the upper 50s and low 60s.
Tomorrow will see the return of muggy dew points and temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s under a mixture of sun and clouds. A cold front dropping in from the north will spark a chance for some spotty afternoon thunderstorms, primarily north of Green Bay. Severe threat looks low.
Overnight, mostly cloudy with a chance of a passing thundershower early, lows in the lower 60s.
Friday will start with an isolated storm or two moving through in the morning, with most of the day being partly cloudy with highs in the lower 80s. Overnight there will be another wave of showers and storms, some of which could be on the stronger side. Wind, hail and downpours are the main threat there.
Another heads up for the weekend. Highs in the upper 80s and lower to middle 90s away from the water, paired with dew points in the 70s with yield heat index values in the upper 90s to triple digits Saturday and Sunday.
