(WFRV) – The Wisconsin State Patrol has announced plans to conduct aerial enforcement in three counties over the upcoming weekend, weather permitting.
According to officials, State Patrol pilots will be monitoring traffic from the air on the following dates and locations:
- Friday, June 20 – US 2/53 in Douglas County
- Saturday, June 21 – Interstate 94 in Kenosha County
- Sunday, June 22 – Interstate 41 in Fond du Lac County

Aerial enforcement allows pilots to more easily spot speeding or aggressive driving from above. When a violation is observed, the pilot communicates with troopers on the ground to initiate a traffic stop.
The Wisconsin State Patrol says publicly announcing these enforcement efforts reinforces its mission to improve safety through voluntary compliance with traffic laws, rather than focusing solely on issuing citations.
