(WFRV) – Following multiple days of near-record-breaking weather, roads and highways across Wisconsin saw pavement buckles.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation posted on its Facebook page, thanking crews who worked to make quick repairs on pavement buckles. The post said over 50 pavement buckles were reported over the weekend.
Temperatures on Monday continued to be high, so officials want motorists to be alert for pavement problems.

Crews across the state and working on repairing highways.

THANK YOU, CREWS! More than 50 pavement buckles were reported across Wisconsin this past weekend, including the one seen here on Highway 60 in Hartford. Thank you to our county highway crews, local public works folks, as well as our law enforcement partners for keeping us safe on the roads and making quick repairs to the damaged pavement.
Hot temps continue today so be alert for pavement problems and highway crews making repairs. Please report serious pavement issues by calling 911.
