The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Widespread showers are expected to return to the area tonight with temperatures dropping down into the upper 50s and lower 60s. Dewpoints also remain in the low to mid 50s, finally giving a break from those muggy conditions we have seen recently.
Thursday morning, besides a few isolated showers, will start dry with mostly cloudy skies. Highs will top out in the upper 60s and lower to middle 70s.
Another wave of showers and a few thunderstorms arrive for the later afternoon and into the evening hours. No severe weather, but heavy rain and small hail are possible. Nighttime lows drop down into the mid 60s.
Rain should clear out for Friday morning, leaving us cloudy for much of the day. Some late sunshine is possible during the evening. Highs in the middle to upper 70s.
Heading into the weekend we see daytime temps surge into the mid 80s with dewpoints creating very humid conditions once again. Saturday evening has some potential for showers and thunderstorms out into central Wisconsin but that becomes much more likely here in northeast Wisconsin as we head into Sunday.
