KENOSHA, Wis. (WFRV) – A 21-year-old man is dead after a fiery motorcycle crash Wednesday night in southeastern Wisconsin.

Authorities say the man was riding a sport-style motorcycle eastbound on County Highway K at a high rate of speed. A full-sized pickup truck was traveling westbound and attempted to turn left onto County Highway D when the motorcycle struck the passenger side of the truck.
The motorcyclist was ejected and collided with the windshield of a westbound SUV that had been traveling behind the pickup. The motorcycle became lodged under the SUV’s engine compartment, causing both vehicles to become fully engulfed in flames.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by the Kenosha County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Officials say the driver and a passenger in the pickup, along with the SUV driver, sustained minor injuries. All three remained on scene and cooperated with investigators. Intoxicants do not appear to be a factor for the drivers of the pickup or SUV.
However, excessive speed is believed to have played a role in the crash.
