GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Green Bay are investigating after the body of a 70-year-old man was recovered from the Fox River near Leicht Memorial Park on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Green Bay Police Department, officers were called to the scene shortly after 4:15 p.m. after a passerby reported finding a body in the water. The man’s body was recovered around 4:30 p.m.

Police say the circumstances surrounding the death are under investigation but added that there is no threat to the community.
