GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Two vehicles are said to be a total loss following a garage fire early Wednesday morning on the west side of Green Bay.
According to a release from the Green Bay Metro Fire Department, firefighters responded at 4:53 a.m. to reports of a garage fire at 611 Augusta Street.
Crews arrived and found a detached garage fully engulfed in flames in an alley behind the reported address.

Firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading to any other nearby homes or structures and had the fire extinguished in 20 minutes.
There were no injuries reported in the incident, but the fire did cause an estimated $80,000 in damages and left the two vehicles inside the garage a total loss.
At this time, no other information is known, and an investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
