The latest from Storm Team 5…
Clear skies on Wednesday morning don’t last for long as we see showers and thunderstorms become more likely throughout the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to reach the mid/upper 80s and dewpoints stay comfortable in the lower 60s. Any storms are expected to weaken overnight allowing clear skies for Thursday morning.
Thursday is expected to stay clear throughout most of the day with temperatures reaching the low 80s. Dew points also remain fairly comfortable in the lower 60s.
As Independence day arrives, Friday has much hotter temperatures in the upper 80s. Humidity also builds as dewpoints reach the low/mid 70s. Some showers are expected in the morning but they should make their way out of the area by the afternoon, allowing for things to dry up just in time for any 4th of July activities you may have planned.
The weekend brings in evening thunderstorms on both Saturday and Sunday with temps in the mid 80s and low 90s. Saturday is expected to be very humid like the day prior but that quickly cools off on Sunday with dewpoints dropping to comfortable levels.
As you begin your workweek mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 70s are expected.
