ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WFRV) – The inaugural women’s eight-ball world championship took place at the Oneida Casino & Hotel over the last five days.
What started with 64 of the best in billiards dwindled down to just one, as 2010 ten-ball world champion Jasmin Ouschan ended her 15-year world title drought by winning nine games to eight in the championship.

The tournament started with the opening ceremony on Tuesday at Lambeau Field before billiards players from 27 different countries descended on Northeast Wisconsin to participate in an event that has only been held on the men’s side for the last few decades.
