OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – A man from Appleton was pulled over and arrested for his 5th OWI charge shortly before noon on Sunday.
A release from the Wisconsin State Patrol states that Andrew James Prahl, a 40-year-old from Appleton, was arrested for OWI, his 5th offense, around 11:15 a.m. on July 13.
Prahl was reportedly pulled over for an unsafe lane deviation on I-41 north near Freedom Road.

During the stop, the trooper allegedly noticed signs of impairment and conducted standardized field sobriety tests. Based on the results, it was determined that Prahl was driving above his .02 blood alcohol concentration restriction.
Prahl was taken to a local hospital for an evidentiary blood draw before being taken to the Outagamie County Jail.
