HARRISON, Wis. (WFRV) – The Village of Harrison officially broke ground Wednesday morning on a major expansion and remodel of its public works garage.
The project includes an 11,400-square-foot addition to the existing garage and features a new pass-through wash bay, as well as three additional full pass-through parking bays.

Crews will convert the current wash bay into new office space for the Department of Public Works, complete with ADA-compliant restrooms and added storage. The existing garage will also receive a full resurfacing of its concrete floor with a resinous flooring system, along with an upgraded vehicle exhaust removal system.

“This project will be a great addition for the village and will allow it to better serve the community as it continues to grow,” added Mitch Beilfuss, project executive at Bayland Buildings, which is assisting in the remodel.
Construction is expected to be completed by March 2026.
