COLOMA, Wis. (WFRV) – One person is dead and another was flown to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 39 in Waushara County late Thursday night.
According to the Waushara County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the crash shortly before 11:30 p.m. near the 125-mile marker in the Town of Coloma.

Authorities say one of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was airlifted for injuries sustained in the crash.
A preliminary investigation revealed one of the vehicles was traveling the wrong way on I-39, though officials did not specify which driver.
