GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – On Monday, July 14, the Green Bay Police Department (GBPD) Motor Unit, along with retired officers, took part in a special escort for the Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) Kids Camp in Salem, Wisconsin.
According to a Facebook post from GBPD, officers from across the country came together to welcome children and families of fallen police officers at General Mitchell Airport.
The C.O.P.S. Kids Camp provides a supportive space for young survivors and their families to connect and heal. The GBPD shared that it was an honor to be part of this meaningful event.
