JANESVILLE, Wis. (WFRV) – Janesville police, in partnership with the Wisconsin Organized Retail Crime Association conduct operation, arrest nine, recover over $3,200 in merchandise.
According to the Janesville Police Department, on July 16, the department, in partnership with the Wisconsin Organized Retail Crime Association (WIORCA), conducted an operation focused on retail crimes. The release says nine arrests were made which resulted in the recover of over $3,200 in merchandise.

Authorities say multiple retailers participated in the operation, including:
- Target
- Walmart
- Sam’s Club
- Kohl’s
- Sephora
- Home Depot
- Menards
- Hy-Vee
- Ulta
- Blain’s Farm and Fleet
- Walgreens
- Finish Line
- TJX
- Old Navy
- Kwik Trip
There was no information on the identities of those arrested. However, police did say due to the success of the operation, it will plan for similar operations in the future.
