GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Local 5’s Green & Gold Training Camp Preview, hosted by Sports Director Burke Griffin and former Green Bay Packer Harry Sydney, set the tone for what’s shaping up to be an exciting 2025 season.
With the first practice just days away, much of the focus is on quarterback Jordan Love as he enters year three as the starter. Love finished last season with 3,389 passing yards, 25 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions, despite dealing with injuries early on.

With two playoff appearances already under his belt, the pressure is on to take another step forward and join the ranks of Packers legends like Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers, both of whom reached Super Bowl contention in their third full seasons under center.
The show also spotlighted General Manager Brian Gutekunst’s continued push to build a championship roster. A year after landing Josh Jacobs and Xavier McKinney in free agency, Gutekunst brought in four more veterans this offseason, including one with Super Bowl experience and another eager to be part of a winning culture.
On the defensive side, Green Bay will move forward without Jaire Alexander, who was released this offseason, but the secondary remains strong with McKinney and Keisean Nixon leading the way. Tight end Tucker Kraft, who led the team with seven touchdowns last year, also looks poised to take on a bigger role.
With a talented mix of veterans and emerging stars, Green Bay’s camp is full of competition and potential.
