GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The NEW Zoo & Adventure Park and the NEW Zoological Society invited guests to “waddle on in” for the Party for the Penguins.
This family-friendly event was free with regular zoo admission and supports African penguin conservation through SAFE: Saving Animals from Extinction.
Guests enjoyed kids’ games, crafts, penguin encounters, and a Penguin Discovery Station. Free carousel rides, penguin merchandise tables, and special penguin art made by the zoo’s own penguins was also be featured.

New this year, visitors can purchase tickets to feed the penguins, tossing fish directly to the flock inside the habitat! Feeding tickets will be available while supplies last at the merchandise tables.
African penguins are endangered, with populations having dropped by 97% since the early 1900s due to pollution, overfishing, and habitat loss.
Events like this help raise critical funds to protect their future.
