GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary is making improvements to better care for its animals.
Starting Monday, July 18, the Raptor Trail near the Observation Building will be closed for two weeks while crews install individual electrical outlets at each animal enclosure.

According to a Facebook post from the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, these upgrades will allow staff to safely use heated tools during colder weather, improving animal care without risking electrical overload.
The sanctuary thanked the Green Bay Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department for their support During construction, Summer Animal Series events will move from the Raptor Theatre to either the front of the Observation Building or the Critter Counter.
