GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The City of Green Bay has introduced a new way for residents to get involved in their community with the launch of an online volunteer portal called Volgistics.
According to a release, this digital platform is designed to make it easier for individuals, businesses, schools, and nonprofit organizations to connect with meaningful volunteer opportunities throughout the city.
Pilot program aims to reduce homelessness in Green Bay by connecting renters with landlords
Volgistics offers a simple and accessible experience, allowing users to sign up as new volunteers, browse upcoming events, and register for opportunities directly from their phones or computers. The platform also makes it easier for organizations and companies to partner with the city on specific projects, helping to streamline collaboration and expand the impact of local efforts.
The City of Green Bay encourages everyone to explore the portal and discover how they can make a difference in their community. Whether you’re looking to give back, build connections, or support local causes, this new system opens the door to a more engaged and connected Green Bay.
To get started, visit the volunteer application page or check out upcoming volunteer opportunities.
