EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WFRV) – Eau Claire County Emergency Management is mourning the loss of Jack Workman, Emergency Management Coordinator for Jackson County, Wisconsin.
In a heartfelt message shared on Facebook, Eau Claire officials remembered Workman as a respected leader and dedicated public servant.

“Wisconsin has lost a great emergency manager—and a truly kind and committed public servant,” the post read. “Jack’s insight, professionalism, and steady leadership left a lasting mark on our region.”
Workman worked closely with Eau Claire County on emergency exercises and also served as Deputy Chief of the Northern Wisconsin Incident Management Team (NOWIMT).
