MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has named Conservation Warden Bradley Dahlquist its 2024 Warden of the Year.
Dahlquist, part of the Antigo Warden Team in the DNR’s Northeast Region, was honored with the prestigious Haskell Noyes Award at a July 12 ceremony in Antigo, according to a press release. The award, now in its 95th year, is one of the highest recognitions given to Wisconsin conservation wardens.

Known for his dedication, leadership, and community spirit, Dahlquist has served as a DNR warden since 2008. He’s praised by colleagues as a humble leader with a strong commitment to public service and a “can-do” attitude.
“Brad has been instrumental in serving the public in Forest and Langlade counties throughout his career,” said Capt. Ben Treml, who nominated him. “He’s always willing to help, keeps up with new technology, and volunteers for extra duties.”
