GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Just days before training camp opens, the Green Bay Packers have reportedly reached a deal with right tackle Zach Tom on a four-year, $88 million contract extension.
The deal, which could reach a maximum value of $92 million, reportedly includes a $30.2 million signing bonus — the highest ever for an NFL offensive lineman.
With the extension, Tom becomes the league’s third-highest-paid right tackle in terms of average annual value, behind Detroit’s Penei Sewell and Philadelphia’s Lane Johnson.

A fourth-round selection out of Wake Forest in the 2022 NFL Draft, Tom has quickly established himself as a key piece of the Packers’ offensive line. He started all 18 games last season, including playoffs, and logged more than 1,000 snaps.
The 25-year-old was entering the final year of his rookie contract, which carried a base salary of $3.4 million. He is now signed through the 2029 season.
