OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – UW-Oshkosh has a new face on the bench. Head Coach Brad Fischer announced that Cassie Schiltz, a former standout player at Division I Green Bay, is joining the women’s basketball program as the top assistant coach.
According to a press release, Schiltz played 151 games for Green Bay, starting 133 of them. She helped the Phoenix reach two NCAA Tournaments (2024, 2025) and two WNITs (2022, 2023).
She also led her team in key stats across multiple seasons and finished her career with 1,314 points, ranking high in the record books for free throw percentage, three-pointers made, and games played.
Cassie is a proven winner who brings a relentless work ethic, strong basketball IQ, and a high level of character to our program.

Off the court, Schiltz was named to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll four times and has coaching experience with the Wisconsin Legends club program.
The Luxemburg native brings both talent and experience to UW-Oshkosh and is expected to make an immediate impact.
