IOWA COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – Two men were arrested for OWI overnight on Saturday after a pair of crashes in one southwestern Wisconsin county, one of which was a fifth offense.
A Facebook post from the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office details the separate crashes and arrests that happened overnight between July 26 and July 27.
The first incident happened around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday in the Town of Dodgeville when deputies responded to a crash on State Highway 191 near McGraw Road.

The driver, 36-year-old Thomas G. Smith of Dodgeville, was arrested after the incident for his fifth OWI offense.
The second arrest happened around 1:50 a.m. on Sunday when deputies were called to a crash on Main Street in the Village of Linden.
The driver, 42-year-old Adam Lee Sprague of Lancaster, was reportedly found to be impaired and was taken into custody.
