The Latest from Storm Team 5…
A complex of showers and storms is moving out of NW WI this evening. Models are indicating this will pass off to our south, so we will escape the worst of this one. While there is a chance for a stray t-shower south and west of Lake Winnebago, most see a quiet night with an increase in clouds. Lows tonight will land in the upper 60s and low 70s.
Besides morning clouds, plan on emerging sunshine for the late morning and especially for the afternoon. Expect highs to get very hot and humid once again, reaching the upper 80s and low 90s.
A HEAT ADVISORY is in effect for areas south of Green Bay from noon until 7pm tomorrow, as high humidity will lead to heat indices closing in on advisory criteria of 100 degrees.
Late Monday night into Tuesday morning, a few showers and storms will approach from western Wisconsin. We will have to monitor the potential for some strong storms with that round.
Skies should open up once again for Tuesday afternoon as highs reach the low to mid 80s. A few pop up thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon.
The heat and humidity exits on Wednesday, and it should stay away for a period of time. Very nice, quiet and comfy weather expected in the extended forecast.
