The latest from Storm Team 5…
It seems things have finally cooled off and we hold temperatures in the mid to upper 70s through the rest of the week, both with sunny days. Wildfire smoke has triggered an air quality alert as we see unhealthy air make its way into the area. It is urged to keep windows closed and run air purifiers if available.
The weekend returns to the low 80s with mostly sunny skies again and lower humidity will continue. On Monday we start the work week with another sunny day and temperatures in the low 80s but that slowly scales towards the mid 80s by mid week. Tuesday and Wednesday have a small chance for showers and thunderstorms that we will continue to monitor throughout the week. Higher temperatures and high humidity is expected to return the following weekend.
