As we share this news, we’re filled with a mix of emotions – sadness, gratitude, and pride. September 26th, 2025 marks our final day in business, and we’re retiring after a decade of hard work and dedication.
Our business was going to be listed for sale with a realtor. In discussions with the building’s ownership, we sought assurances regarding a reasonable lease payment and term for prospective buyers. Regrettably, their proposed payment was quadruple our current rate, making it unfeasible for new owners to succeed. After further deliberations, the ownership indicated their intention to obstruct the sale, instead opting to introduce a ‘Spices’ restaurant. As a result, we are faced with the daunting reality of being unable to sell our business, despite a decade of tireless efforts. However, we’re still thankful for the opportunity to have served our community.
We’d like to express our sincere appreciation to our loyal customers for their unwavering support throughout the years. Your kindness and appreciation have made a significant impact on our lives. We’re also deeply grateful to our outstanding employees both past and present, whose contributions have been instrumental in our success. Your tireless efforts and commitment have been invaluable, and we’ll always cherish the memories we’ve shared.
With love and appreciation, Nicky Hallada & Randy Hallada
