DE PERE, Wis. (WFRV) – For a special event on Thursday night, ComedyCity Theatre raised money for those in need of love and support: pediatric cancer patients and their families.
The ComedyCity Cares benefit show continued the tradition of improv comedy that the group has provided to the Green Bay area for nearly 40 years, with a family-friendly twist.

As usual, audience members provide the suggestions for what a skit/game should be about, but the ticket sales also went towards Families of Children with Cancer, a non-profit for families who have kids diagnosed with cancer in northeast Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula.
Families of Children with Cancer provides families with financial aid, care packages, medical binders, hospital bags and plenty of activities for loved ones facing a cruel situation to help them spend time together and take a break from the harsh weight of treatment and illness.
