OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials in Oshkosh announced on Friday that the Oshkosh Arena will soon be hosting its first concert in nearly two years.
According to a release posted on social media, the group currently managing the Oshkosh Arena, VenuWorks of Oshkosh, announced that Broadway’s Rock of Ages Band will take the stage on October 18.

Broadway’s Rock of Ages Band will be the first concert hosted at the Oshkosh Arena since country singer David Lee Murphy performed in October 2023.
Officials say bankruptcy filings by the previous ownership of the Oshkosh area are to blame for no other concert taking the stage since then.
The community has been waiting for the rebirth of concerts at the Oshkosh Arena, and our VenuWorks team is so excited to announce this concert, which we know is just the start of breathing new life into concert entertainment within this building.

Broadway’s Rock of Ages Band features members who were selected from popular rock bands to help bring new life to the music and hits from the ’80s.
In one thrilling show, officials say the October 18 concert will feature songs originally done by Bon Jovi, Journey, Whitesnake, Poison, AC/DC, Joan Jett, Styx, Pat Benatar, REO Speedwagon, Twisted Sister, Quiet Riot and many more with some of the musicians in Broadway’s Rock of Ages Band having played or are still playing with many of the listed artists.

Tickets for the show will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19. Those interested can buy tickets through the Oshkosh Arena’s website or in person at the Box Office.
