MARCELLON, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin are investigating the death of a four-year-old child who died Wednesday evening after falling from a piece of farm equipment.
According to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called just before 6:00 p.m. to a report of a severely injured child in the Town of Marcellon. First responders arrived quickly, but the child had already succumbed to injuries sustained in the fall.

“This was a tragic incident for all involved,” said Captain David Clark. “Our condolences go out to the family affected by this tragedy. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.”
Clark also acknowledged the emotional toll such calls take on first responders, thanking them for their service during a heartbreaking situation.
