WYOCENA, Wis. (WFRV) – A 12-year-old child was pronounced dead at a central Wisconsin farm on Saturday after getting trapped under a rolled-over UTV.
Deputies with the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office say around 4 p.m. on August 9, they got a 911 call reporting that a 12-year-old had rolled over in a UTV and was trapped underneath.
First responders immediately arrived at the scene of the incident, at a farm in the Town of Wyocena.

Arriving deputies pronounced the child dead at the scene.
The Sheriff’s Office was also assisted by the Columbia County Medical Examiner’s Office, the Wisconsin DNR, Rio Fire Department, Rio EMS, Wyocena Fire Department, and the Sheriff’s Office Chaplain Unit.
