The Latest from Storm Team 5…
It has been a beautiful day out there in northeast Wisconsin with sunshine, comfy dew points and seasonal temperatures. The wildfire smoke for the most part has stayed manageable in the moderate category and the latest forecast from the DNR keeps us in that category with smoke lingering about.
Tonight, mostly clear skies with areas of smoke. It will be a comfy night with a low around our average of 60 degrees.
Tomorrow is shaping up to be another beautiful day with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 70s to around 80. Dew points may spike into the low 60s for a time, but should not be unbearable. While some wildfire smoke will linger, it should stay either aloft or in low concentrations at the surface.
We will tack on the heat and humidity for Friday with temperatures back into the low to mid 80s and dew points spiking into the mid to upper 60s. Otherwise, mostly sunny skies are in the forecast.
An early heads up…rain and storms will move in overnight Friday into Saturday and Saturday night. We will have to watch how strong those get. As a stationary boundary sets up, another storm chance is expected Sunday and again into Monday.
Looks like we see quiet weather return Tuesday and a taste of autumn with highs only in the low 70s.
