(WFRV) – An 18-year-old man was in Brown County court on Monday in relation to an alleged homicide.
According to Brown County Jail records, 18-year-old Ji-Gwe-Mko Layton had his cash bond set at $750,000. He was arrested on August 15 on a single first-degree intentional homicide charge, according to the Brown County Jail.
Court records show Layton has yet to be officially charged.

On August 15, the Brown County Sheriff’s Office said it arrested an 18-year-old, later identified as Layton, near State Highway 172. Layton had a gun and was arrested without issue, authorities said.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Office claims Layton shot the victim, who was driving, and the vehicle ended up crashing. Two guns were found during the investigation.
The victim was only identified as a 60-year-old man from Wood County. Wood County is in central Wisconsin.
