MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – A 26-year-old man in Wisconsin was arrested late Monday night after reportedly refusing to comply with officers as they attempted to contact him over disorderly conduct.
According to the Madison Police Department, Edward Ellefson was walking downtown around State Street and West Mifflin Street at about 11:28 p.m. on Monday, when officers say he appeared extremely angry.

Police said that as he continued walking downtown while extremely agitated, he was repeatedly shouting a racial slur and officers believed he was trying to instigate a fight.
The release added that upon meeting with him, he refused to comply and was arrested following a struggle in an attempt to take him into custody.
