SUPERIOR, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in northwest Wisconsin are continuing the search for Corrine Johansen, who remains missing.
According to the Superior Police Department, the multi-agency effort has focused on areas where previous community searches took place and where items of significance were located.
The search included drones, multiple K9 teams, and ground crews from several agencies, with added help from community volunteers. Despite extensive efforts in the wooded areas near Johansen’s home, no new evidence or leads were found.
“Our investigation remains a priority, and our commitment to finding Corrine has not changed,” the Superior Police Department said in a statement. “Detectives continue to pursue leads, review evidence, and coordinate closely with regional partners.”

Officials added that search operations are concentrated in areas where evidence and information suggest the greatest likelihood of success.
