STURGEON BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Sturgeon Bay community members gathered for a head-shaving fundraiser on Wednesday evening to show solidarity and support for local cancer patients.
Clip for a Cause, hosted by Door CANcer, Inc., brings people together to raise money that provides financial assistance to cancer patients and their families across Door County.
Residents were invited to Sonny’s Pizzeria to either watch or participate while people cheered on those who shaved their heads to stand in solidarity with those facing a cruel and unfair situation.
All of the money raised stays in Door County, going back to the patients who need all the love and help they can get amidst a fight for their lives.
