GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Packers Nation is already buzzing ahead of the regular season.
Fans from across the country packed Lambeau Field for Green Bay’s preseason game against Seattle, treating it like a bucket-list event.

“I gotta go catch a Seahawks game at different stadiums every year and see them play at Lambeau,” said Josh Whitaker of Spokane. “I don’t care if it’s a preseason game — we’re going.”
His friend Kenny Pederson added, “He convinced me to wear a Seahawks shirt, but the atmosphere is great, the people are nice and the stadium’s amazing.”
For Gloria Baenen of Green Bay, the games are about more than wins and losses. She wheels her 12-year-old dog Vinnie James — decked out in Packers gear — through the crowd in a football-shaped cooler she built herself.
“I started taking him to every home game when he was two,” she said. “We’re here just to make everyone happy.”
Fans constantly stop to pet Vinnie James, take photos and share a smile — a reminder that Lambeau magic is about community as much as football.
