FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) – To coincide with multiple upgrades between the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders and Marian University, the two announced a partnership agreement through 2050.
The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders announced the plan to introduce artificial turf to Herr-Baker Field. Officials say the installation of AstroTurf is expected to be done by spring 2026.
Herr-Baker Field will be the first phase of improvements, the team said. AstroTurf additions will reportedly happen at Marian’s softball field and Lenz Field House. These additions are expected to be completed later in 2026.
As a part of the improvements, the Dock Spiders and Marian University extended their partnership agreement through 2050.
