FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) – The Fond du Lac Police Department’s family grew by one recently with the introduction of its newest K9, who came from Germany.
Through a Facebook post on Wednesday, Fond du Lac PD posted pictures of its newest K9, K9 Vox, officially welcoming him to the family.
“We’re excited to introduce K9 Vox, a 2-year-old German Shepherd imported from Germany in 2024,” FDLPD’s post began.

Officers noted that K9 Vox completed a rigorous five-week training program at Steinig Tal K-9 Police Academy. Vox earned certifications in tracking, handler protection, narcotics detection, article searches, and obedience.
K9 Vox teamed up with Officer Jacob Roy for their first shift together on Tuesday night.
