EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WFRV) – Police in western Wisconsin are investigating a homicide after a man was shot and killed at a residence Saturday afternoon.
The Eau Claire Police Department says officers were called shortly after 2 p.m. to a home on Sunset Drive for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found 37-year-old Michael Lee of Eau Claire dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
Wisconsin woman arrested for 3rd OWI after driving with children in vehicle
As a result of the investigation, 29-year-old Dakota Bilderback of Eau Claire was arrested on suspicion of second-degree intentional homicide. Police said formal charges are pending.
Investigators say Lee and Bilderback were known to each other. The case remains under investigation.
