GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – CBS’s THE NFL TODAY will be live at Lambeau Field this Sunday for the Green Bay Packers’ home opener against the Detroit Lions, bringing one of football’s most iconic pregame shows to Titletown.
The broadcast, hosted by three-time Emmy Award winner James Brown alongside Hall of Fame coach Bill Cowher, former NFL MVP Matt Ryan, and longtime analyst Nate Burleson, begins at 11 a.m. Fans are invited to attend in person in front of the set, located between Lots 4 and 5, near the Bellin Health and Miller Lite gates.
In addition, THE NFL TODAY+, hosted by Amanda Guerra with analysts Matt Ryan, Antonio Pierce, and Kyle Long, will stream live from 9 to 11 a.m. on Paramount+.
This special on-site edition is part of CBS Sports’ plan to take THE NFL TODAY on the road for select marquee games this season, giving fans a rare chance to see the network crew in action outside its New York studio.
The Packers’ home opener, a divisional matchup against Detroit, was chosen as one of those spotlight games. With Green Bay opening its slate at Lambeau, national attention will once again center on one of the NFL’s most historic stadiums.
For fans, the opportunity to see both the game and a live national broadcast adds to the energy surrounding kickoff weekend. Between the pregame coverage, game-day festivities in Titletown, and the matchup itself, the stage is set for a full day of football and fanfare in Green Bay.
