OAKFIELD, Wis. (WFRV) – A 35-year-old man from Green Bay was arrested following a roughly 14-mile pursuit through Fond du Lac County.
According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, around 12:40 p.m. on September 7, a deputy saw a vehicle speeding on County Trunk Highway Y near CTH YY in the Township of Oakfield.
The deputy tried to initiate a traffic stop; however, the vehicle failed to yield and continued southbound on CTH Y.
The pursuit continued into Dodge County, where the suspect vehicle traveled south on Dairy Road, eventually reaching the community of Farmersville. Once in Farmersville, the vehicle turned northbound onto CTH V, heading back toward Fond du Lac County.

Deputies deployed tire deflation devices on CTH V and later on Highway 49, successfully deflating the suspect’s tires. The vehicle continued westbound on Highway 49 at reduced speeds due to the deflated tires.
At that point, a Fond du Lac County deputy executed a PIT maneuver, successfully bringing the vehicle to a stop.
A Taser was then used on the suspect after he allegedly failed to comply with deputies’ orders.
The suspect, a 35-year-old man from Green Bay, was taken to the Fond du Lac County Jail on the following charges:
- Felony fleeing/eluding
- Misdemeanor bail jumping
- Various traffic violations
The total distance of the pursuit was roughly 14 miles.
