OCONTO COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – Health officials confirmed that the number of measles cases in Oconto County has grown to 25, with all patients unvaccinated.
The latest case was added since last week’s report, which had noted 24 confirmed infections. The Department of Health Services (DHS) is updated it’s outbreak dashboard twice weekly to track the spread.

So far, two people have been reported hospitalized, and thankfully, there have been no deaths associated with the outbreak.
Given out contagious measles is, especially among unvaccinated individuals, health officials continue to urge residents to confirm their vaccination status and get the MMR vaccine if needed.
