GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Green Bay Packers have leapt out to a 2-0 start for the 2025 season, and after Thursday night’s 27-18 win over Washington, Packers fans ‘thanked’ Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones for their hot start.
On August 28, Green Bay’s Super Bowl winning odds went from +2200 to +1200, according to FanDuel, when they acquired All-Pro Defensive End Micah Parsons in a trade with the Dallas Cowboys.

Parsons, even in limited snaps for the first two games of the Packers season, has made an immediate impact, all while mainly lining up across two of the NFL’s best Offensive Tackles in Penei Sewell and Laremy Tunsil.
Green Bay’s defense has been electric, holding two of the league’s premier offenses to 31 points, 22 of which came in the fourth quarter after the Packers had commanding leads.
And on Thursday, Packers fans poked fun at the Cowboys owner and ‘thanked’ Jerry Jones in a chant during a postgame interview with Parsons.
